Double points and triple miles promotions dont go together
I registered both the double points (end by April 6) and triple miles promotions before my hotel stay on April 6th. I realized I got the double points but not the triple miles after my stay. I called Hilton and I was told that I could not use both promotions. Thats why I only get 1000 BMI miles.
If you plan to take advantage of the 3000 BMI miles/night, you want to make sure that you are not registered under other promotions.
I am disappointed. I wish I knew this rule earlier so I can at least choose triple miles over double points.

Also, if it's like past double/triple miles promos, the extra miles aren't credited when the initial miles are... with the 4x DL miles and 1000 MQM promos they were credited monthly, and about a month behind the stays.

That's terrible!
How can I unregister from the bonus points promo and force to get the airmiles promotion? I don't care about a few hotel points, but do care about 3000 airmiles per night (bmi!)
Is there an email address I can be using? (happy to be pm'ed it thx)

Hold on! Hold on! Hold on!
I registered for both promos. The bonus points posted but only the usual 500 airline miles. After reading these post here on FT I wrote an email to my fellow Hilton CSR regarding this issue. She just replied 30 minutes ago, telling me that she will investigate and tell me the outcome tomorrow. As she is VERY VERY reliable, I suggest to wait a few more hours before doing anything. I'll post her official reply here on FT asap.

Will be interested in the response you get. I got a response from Hilton today by email saying that the standard BMi miles were all I'd get.
This is all getting too confusing.

I too was told (in writing, in response to an enquiry), that the promos were mutually exclusive. I asked to be unregistered from the 1,000 points per night promo, which I was told, once again in writing, was done. I am assuming this will give me sufficient evidence to claim the bonus miles, in case they don't post automatically.
3K BMI miles >>> 1K HH points in my book!

I was given the opposite answer, the DD agent says that since one is miles and another is points, they're combinable.

There have been about as many answers as inquiries, it appears. To be cynical it would be to HHonors' advantage to deny 'double dipping'.
Unless other posters report successful automatic posting of both bonus miles and points before my next stay, I'll play it safe and take my favored miles over the points.

I got the same DD response: Miles is miles, and points is points.

My panic is less now... my room bill this morning on check-out (for a 1 night stay) said estimated points were more than I'd normally expect, and estimated miles 3000.... as such looks like both promos will be applied at some point in time.... I'll leave it and wait and see!
Edit: Had a look at my account last night - my stay last week gave me 3000 airmiles, so, at least for the moment I'm getting them (good news!). A stay starting the 6th April didn't count though (just got the last quarters double points promo), as such might have to request those sometime soon

Same here. 2 stays last week, double points but 1000 BD miles. It will be interesting to see how this turns out.

What happens if you book a H3 rate - triple base points (not a promo, a rate) and have signed up for triple miles under this promo?
I don't see why this should be mutually exclusive.

My DD style is point + mile.
I lost 2000 miles for the worthless 850 extra points. (I got only the standard BMI 1000 miles)
By the way, HHonor customer service confirmed that the USA Swimming team promotion (10% off) cannot be combined with any other promotion.
